About Tammy
Tammy is a multi-award winning social entrepreneur, writer, qualified coach and experienced public speaker.
She is the founder of The Shona Project, a non-profit organisation which has impacted and empowered hundreds of thousands of young women and girls in Ireland.
Tammy has appeared on many media platforms including national print, radio and TV
In 2021 she was announced as the Irish Red Cross Humanitarian of The Year and in 2023 received the European Citizens Prize. She has received numerous other accolades for her work.
Tammy is a qualified coach and mentor, and an accredited celebrant with The Academy of Modern Celebrancy.
Tammy is a huge believer in the power of storytelling, and can apply that skill to any ceremony or event, whether celebrating the achievement of a team or oragniastion, a love story at a wedding, or a life that has come to and end.

Hosting or EMC’ing and event involves holding space for the voices that ned to be heard, and the stories that need to be told. Tammy has experience curating, hosting and managing events with up to 2,000 attendees.
